Do you understand what fracking is? The truth is, very few people really understand the process and how environmentally destructive it really is.

What problems does fracking cause?

Air pollution.
As the acids are pumped into the ground, forced in with water at high pressure, the acidic mist contaminates the air and can cause severe breathing problems, leading to death

Water pollution
The acids, oil and gas releases can contaminate entire aquifers or travel off target to contaminate underground rivers and wells.

Soil pollution
The broken rock brought to the surface in the fracking process can contain radon. It is essentially radioactive material and can cause radioactive poisoning, even death.
The acids and chemicals used in fracking can contaminate the soil above and under the surface

Who would want to drink water like this?

Water from fracking can contain acidic/toxic chemicals,
Oil, gas, fragments of broken rocks, and can be deadly.

Water is a natural resource and should be protected from all threats, including fracking.
